Our operations are primarily conducted through six operating subsidiaries: Parlux Fragrances and Five Star Fragrance, Perfumania, Perfumania.com, Quality Fragrance Group, and Scents of Worth. OUR HISTORY A Proud History of Growth Originally founded as a fragrance business by the Nussdorf family in 1980, the evolution of change and growth now spans over 30 years. Today, Stephen Nussdorf oversees the business. 1997: Working within the mass market arena the first major acquisition occurred with the acquisition of Sense of Worth resulting in the expansion into the consignment business. 2004 and 2006: Two additional acquisitions expanded the company’s wholesale operation. 2008: Perfumania Holdings, Inc. was created with the acquisition of free standing retail doors. This year saw the combining with the wholesale, consignment and owned and licensed brand business, all coming under one umbrella. 2012: Perfumania Holdings, Inc. acquired Parlux, a manufacturer and global distributor of fine fragrances and beauty related products, providing license sourcing and development to manufacture and distribute the fragrance brands of fashion houses, celebrities, designers and sports figures.
