Marion City Schools is a public school district in central Ohio. We serve more than 4,800 students from preschool through twelfth grade. We set our goal high, to inspire a community of achievement. We inspire students throughout elementary school to master the basic skills. Our teachers use programs and tools like Literacy Collaborative, Reading Recovery and Leveled Literacy Intervention to make sure students learn the reading skills that will benefit them throughout school and life. In middle school, we inspire students by guiding them to become more independent thinkers. We recognize it`s a time of change and we work as teams to not only address their academics but their social and emotional needs. We encourage them to start exploring their interests by offering opportunities to excel in those interests. Our high school inspires students to become life-long learners and productive citizens. We offer focused programs through which academic help and technology tools allow our students to earn credit in a variety of ways.
