Well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, shops, radio stations, television studios, and general purpose areas such as gyms, auditoriums, field houses, and cafeterias mean that our students receive their education in an environment that promotes a range of learning opportunities. Professional development and continuous improvement are points of emphasis for teachers, all of whom follow a a coaching plan and participate in weekly department collaboration sessions. The three high schools serve students from Des Plaines and Park Ridge, as well as parts of Glenview, Harwood Heights, Morton Grove, Niles, Norridge, Norwood Park Township, and Rosemont.

Moorpark Unified School District operates eleven schools; six elementary schools, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school, a continuation high school and a middle college program.
