Inspired by the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, we Presence Health, a Catholic health system, provide compassionate, holistic care with a spirit of healing and hope in the communities we serve. In addition to delivering excellent care and service, we want to inspire people to see their health in a new way. More than doctor visits and medical tests, but a lifelong journey of small, manageable steps. Our goal is to empower the people we serve to take a few of those steps every day to achieve their best health. And there`s no better time to start than today. Created in November 2011 through the merger of Provena Health and Resurrection Health Care, Presence Health is the largest Catholic health system based in Illinois. We offer more than 150 locations around the state, in communities large and small, so health care access is convenient. With 12 hospitals, 27 long-term care and senior living facilities, dozens of physician offices and health centers, home care, hospice, behavioral health services and more, we care for people in all stages of life.
A long-standing Arizona nonprofit and community partner championing healthy living for seniors, Sun Health provides philanthropic resources for health care, comprehensive senior living communities, and signature programs leveraging technology within and outside hospital walls. Sun Health has embraced a rich history of serving the community for over 40 years. Generous donations and a volunteer force of more than 500 people have enabled us to raise more than $300 million for hospital expansions, internationally recognized research and some of the area`s best health care services for seniors Through our Sun Health Community Health programs, we continue to develop and implement community-based health programs that are top of mind among those we serve, such as our Care Transitions, Memory Care Navigator and Medication Management programs. These programs cater to those 55 and up by giving them support, guidance and resources. Our subsidiary, Sun Health Senior Living, offers unsurpassed housing, amenities and health care via three Arizona retirement communities: Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, La Loma Village in Litchfield Park and The Colonnade in Sun City Grand. A blend of resort-style active retirement and seamless health care services, our three communities provide residents with physical/financial security, independence, a constant flow of friends and activities, and an array of all-inclusive health care amenities to ensure vibrant, worry-free retirement living. Lastly, our Sun Health Foundation is the core charitable giving partner for Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center and Banner Sun Health Research Institute. It also provides support for the senior center, Alzheimer`s residence and special adult residence and hospice facilities, and raises funds for four key hospital and research priorities: Cardiology, Neurosciences, Research and Orthopedics.
Wood County Hospital was founded in 1951 with support from the Wood County community. Wood County residents believed so much in the hospital back then; they played a key role in its early development. They sold blankets, went door-to-door asking for donations, held bazaars, and even sold a heifer to generate funds to make sure those early years were healthy. The trust and respect that has accrued over its lifetime is built on a tradition of “being there” for Wood and Henry County residents – in good times and bad – 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. There is no time when you could ask for help that it would not be there for you. Today, with over 700 individuals employed, the Hospital is proud to be a valuable resource, ready to serve our community. We believe the strength of the community lies in having excellent health care close to home, with neighbors caring for neighbors. We’re proud to say that our community can depend on us.

Valley Baptist is a community health service performing spiritually-based health, education and charitable programs in accordance with the teachings and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Incorporating the latest in technology with a commitment to compassionate, faith-based care, both Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville have established a reputation for serving Valley residents like nowhere else! Every day, for more than 80 years, lives have been saved simultaneously at both the hospital in Brownsville and the hospital in Harlingen. The histories of the two hospitals parallel each other, as both are stories of caring people reaching out to help the sick and dying, in service to their communities. And now those histories are intertwined with both hospitals being part of the Valley Baptist family. As our organization moves toward the future, we focus on five strategic initiatives in order to achieve a shared vision to accomplish our mission as the leading health care provider in South Texas.
