OASIS is a not-for-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society. OASIS has a broad technical agenda encompassing cloud, security, privacy, energy, content technologies, M2M, business transactions, emergency management, eGov, healthcare, mobile, and other areas where our members have identified the need for open standards. OASIS is about people coming together to agree on intelligent ways to exchange information over the Internet and within their organizations. The consortium has more than 5,000 participants in 100 countries. Over 600 multinational companies, SMEs, government agencies, universities, research institutions, consulting groups and individual members are represented.
