As the global trade association for official destination marketing organizations (DMOs), Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) protects and advances the success of destination marketing worldwide. DMAI`s membership includes nearly 600 official DMOs with more than 4,100 staff members from nearly 20 countries that command $2.8 billion in annual budgets. Membership is open to all official DMOs recognized by their respective governments from the smallest town to the largest country, including convention and visitor bureaus, regional tourism boards, state tourism offices and provincial tourism offices and national tourism boards. Professional Engineers Ontario governs over 85,000 licence and certificate holders, grants temporary, limited and provisional licences to practise professional engineering, and authorizes businesses to provide engineering services to the public. It sets standards for and regulates engineering practice. Under the Professional Engineers Act, its statutory mandate is to serve and protect the public interest where engineering is concerned. Rigorously educated, experienced and committed to a Code of Ethics that puts the public first, licensed professional engineers can be identified by the P.Eng. after their names. Limited engineering licensees can be identified by the LEL after their names.
