Administer and direct the operations of the property Human Resources Department and the oversight of HR for all properties that fall under their responsibility.

Approve Formal Notice of Counseling for Select Serve Properties.
Train GMIT`s on HR functions.
Conduct an audit of files to ensure compliance with the Key Controls during property visits.
Responsible for the training and onboarding of HRD`s.
Train and onboard HR contacts at Select Serve properties.
Ensure documentation and progressive discipline is in place for all terminations.
Authorize terminations of employment for EC staff at other properties.
Approve Performance Improvement Reviews for salaried staff at properties.
Conduct on site property visits at least twice a year.
Process benefit enrollments as needed for select service properties.
Ensure benefits open enrollment is completed at all properties.
Work with GM`s regarding the property AOS and make sure action planning is done.
Conduct management training when visiting properties, i.e. coaching and counseling.
Prepare wage surveys prior to transitions and as requested by Select Service hotels.
Maintain communication with department heads to develop and update job specifications, description of benefits, and specifications for the type of candidate desired. Identify openings and initiate recruitment process.
Responsible for the on boarding process for all positions.
Maintain up-to-date files on personnel to include application, associate handbook signature page, orientation checklist, W-4, I-9, emergency information, current position and wage, reference check data, reprimand and suspension documentation, termination information and any other forms required by federal or state law.
Efficiently administer the hotel`s workers` compensation program.
Efficiently administer Company`s benefit program with regard to all leave policies and medical/ dental / vision / life insurances, COBRA, 401K, vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, funeral leave, jury duty, FMLA, complimentary rooms, associate cafeteria, parking, and uniforms.
Responsible for the administration of the property wage program for exempt and non-exempt associates.
Ensure that all performance reviews (hourly/salaried) are administered on a timely basis in accordance with company`s performance review policies.
Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations including the company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the hotel`s compliance with all company and risk management and life safety standards with regard to associates, guest and property overall.
Conduct all exit interviews as required following the company separation procedures.
Conduct ongoing training in all the areas in order to comply with the company`s and Brand standards.
Accurately and efficiently administer the associate relations budget and all functions thereof.
Direct all the employee relations initiatives throughout the property and evaluate, coordinate and approve all disciplinary actions at the property in conjunction with the Executive HR Director.
Participate in Executive Committee meetings, Property MOD Program, Staff and Department meetings as needed.
Oversee the functions, duties and responsibilities of all Human Resource associates at the property.
Analyze staff needs and prepare appropriate recommendations.
Keep Corporate Human Resources Department updated on all incidents where legal exposure might occur, or possible union organizing.

Perform other duties as may be required by the General Manager or Corporate Human Resources Department.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for clarification when needed.
Strong work ethic.
At least 7 years of experience in hotel human resources management or related field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Lift and carry approximately thirty (30) pounds.
