Reliant Energy Retail Holdings, LLC (Reliant Energy) is principally engaged in providing electricity to more than 1.7 million retail customers, including homes, small and large businesses, manufacturing facilities, government entities and institutions across Texas. It also sells some of the electricity at wholesale rates to other electric utilities. Reliant Energy purchases majority of the electricity sold to its customers in Houston.
