The Record-Journal Publishing Company is an independent, family owned company committed to meeting the needs of its customers. The company began in 1867 and has achieved an unequaled level of quality, receiving numerous awards from its peers, readers and business associates. The foundation of the company is its daily and Sunday newspaper, the Record-Journal, which is published each morning and serves the Meriden, Wallingford, Southington and Cheshire. The Record-Journal Publishing Company also publishes a group of weekly, community newspapers that collectively reach, along with the Record-Journal, over 370,000 adults in Central Connecticut.
