In 2012, the firm expanded to its own 14,000 sq. ft. facility near the produce market on NW 22nd Street. Mr. Greens Produce has been a big contributor of employment in Allapattah as its philosophy has been to hire local residents as well as military veterans. The staff grew during its first year under new ownership to 24 employees and 11 vehicles. In 2015, the firm moved into its own 65,000 sq. ft. facility on six acres in Liberty City. Mr. Greens has grown to over 180 employees, 52 refrigerated trucks and 16 refrigerated vans.
