Responsibilities:
• Oversee the creation and management of all branding for the company, its brands and properties
• Work with the executive team to guide the creative direction and messaging for all marketing campaign communications; create and ensure adhesion to brand guidelines for all initiatives, and manage outside agency resources
• Drive the implementation of the brand identity to develop campaigns to drive doctor and patient registration and engage the community through social media
• Direct the development and strategy for Marley Natural, Tilray and additional company brands
• Oversee company and brand messaging to create an engaging and cohesive voice across all external and internal channels
• Direct the creation and implementation of annual marketing plans and budgets covering all aspects of marketing for company, its brands and individual properties, including digital marketing, public relations, social media, promotions, advertising, partnerships and trade and consumer events
• Oversee and evaluate market research, industry and economic trends and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Pursue and implement strategic partnerships with like-minded brands as well as government and cultural agencies to enhance visibility for the company and its properties
• Provide brand and strategic marketing input for new business development and presentations
• Foster productive relationships and open, clear communications within team, internally with other departments, and externally with business partners and outside agencies
• Work closely with Executive team on business planning, budgeting and global expansion of the brands
• Communicate quarterly results and analysis to the leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
• 10+ years in a senior level marketing leadership role with a global consumer product, lifestyle brand business. Early stage, high growth company experience strongly preferred
• Experience to include management, strategy development and implementation and hands-on experience in branding, ecommerce, social media, digital marketing, events and strategic partnerships
• Experience in packaging development; new product development; new product launches
• Thought leader for big brand efforts to convey important brand attributes
• Results-driven with strong ability to analyze quantitative data to determine effectiveness, ROI, forecasting
• Demonstrable track record of developing strategies and turning them into results
• Passion and skill for leading and partnering with cross-function teams and internal partners
• Background check will be conducted after conditional offer of employment is extended
• Can tolerate the occasional office dog who may wander over for a pat on the head
