Ernest, with a heart as big as a barn and a will just as strong, turned his gaze from the fields of his lost family farm in Lodi, Wisconsin, to the rooftops of Madison and Dane County, laying down shingles and siding with the same care he once tended his crops. As the years rolled by like the seasons, this family tree of a company branched out, nurtured by Ernests son, Hugh, then his grandson, Dennis, the great-grandsons, Travis and Marc, and now a 5 generation is blooming.
