Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer and managing the global recruitment teams, you will be a very close partner to Polycom’s global business leaders and HR business partners while driving long-term recruiting success through the creation and management of a world-class recruiting organization. You will also be the strategic mind behind the employment brand and positioning of Polycom as an employer of choice in the high technology market worldwide.

Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for worldwide recruitment efforts for the Americas, APAC and EMEA
• Lead the development of Polycom’s global workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy and succession planning in support of corporate goals and values
• Ensure that adequate resources are available to meet recruiting demands
• Serve as an integral partner in helping to acquire key talent, improve organizational performance, and develop organizational capability
• Drive the enhancement and maintenance of recruiting marketing programs, processes, systems, and tools needed to meet organizational and customer objectives
• Manage recruiting budget, workforce planning, and financial modeling for recruiting expenses and contractors worldwide
• Create and manage programs for global mobility, employee referral, employment branding, diversity hiring and more
• Proactively establish and maintain effective high-level, trusted advisor relationships with key clients across the organization
Qualifications
You are a seasoned professional with a proven record of success in hands-on recruiting, recruiting operations and workforce planning programs. Your stellar communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to inspire people to success.
You have created and delivered successful recruiting programs, established best practices, and communicated and improved upon key metrics and reporting. Your optimism and positive manner energize those around you to exceed their goals.
Specific requirements include:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in hands-on recruiting• Experience with internet recruiting, HR database management systems, applicant tracking systems, creative sourcing solutions and successful recruitment and retention methodologies• 5+ years of experience leading a recruiting team• Experience managing recruitment in EMEA and APAC with an understanding of the varying dynamics across global theatres• You love our Polycom technology • Strong, motivational leader with prior experience managing and developing staff• Earns the confidence and trust of others, delivers on commitments, demonstrates high standards of ethical conduct and protects confidential information• Demonstrated capability to create and foster a collaborative work environment within your team, within HR and across all functions • Influences people across functions and the company to accelerate business results and operational excellence• Success at managing in a dynamic, matrixed culture including proactively taking action for the good of the business • Works effectively under pressure and in ambiguous situations • You love to be hands on with your work – admit it!• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience • Bring a certain “joie de vie” and good sense of humor to the work place – we all need to have some fun at times!
