The Tampa Sports Authority is exempt from Federal and State Income Taxes under provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and Florida Income Tax Code, respectively. Capital Grants are received annually by the Tampa Sports Authority pursuant to Cooperative Agreements with Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa. In accordance with the Cooperative Agreements, unexpended appropriations are refunded to the county and city at the end of the year.
