In 2015, the Fairbanks Hospital Foundation decided that Fairbanksans know what`s best for the Interior and the team embarked on a plan of community owned and operated facilities. Beginning January 1, 2017, Tanana Valley Clinic (TVC), Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) and Denali Center (DC) became part of Foundation Health Partners, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation. Foundation Health Partners operates all three facilities through a 15-member Board of Directors.
