In November 2012, PeopLease was acquired by a group of investors. The new investor group is led by industry executives Chris Munro and Marc Kramer. These executives have held senior executive and CEO positions and invested in over 30 companies in North America such as Allied Holdings Inc., Ruan Transportation, Fenway Partners (transportation focused private equity fund) and Exel/DHL.
