PeopLease was founded in 1994 with an idea that would revolutionize the trucking industry. PeopLease is a leading provider of PEO administration, human resources, risk management services and solutions to the logistics and transportation industry with a nationwide platform. PeopLease has built a strong customer base and has been endorsed by the National Association of Small Trucking Companies as the truck driver leasing business of choice. PeopLease has grown rapidly because of its understanding of the transportation industry and its reputation for outstanding service.   The company's key executives, sales personnel, safety and loss control personnel, and key payroll technicians all have major transportation backgrounds and experience. In November 2012, PeopLease was acquired by a group of investors. The new investor group is led by industry executives Chris Munro and Marc Kramer. These executives have held senior executive and CEO positions and invested in over 30 companies in North America such as Allied Holdings Inc., Ruan Transportation, Fenway Partners (transportation focused private equity fund) and Exel/DHL.
