Opus One is the story of a shared dream of two great men of wine: Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and renowned Napa Valley vintner Robert Mondavi. By combining the great winemaking traditions and innovations of both families, the founders` singular goal was to create an exceptional wine in the heart of the Napa Valley. Situated 60 miles north of San Francisco in the Oakville appellation, Opus One`s vineyards comprise 169 acres and are planted to the traditional grape varieties of Bordeaux: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Tug Hill Vineyards

At Tug Hill Vineyards we are dedicated to producing the finest estate grown, handcrafted, premium New York State wines available on the market today. Established in 2007, Tug Hill Vineyards is owned and operated by Michael and Susan Maring. The Marings have been involved in the horticulture industry for 30 years, having previously owned a landscape and nursery business. Twenty acres of premium grapevines, developed at the University of Minnesota, are thriving on our forty acre estate. In addition to our grapes, Tug Hill Vineyards features three acres of u-pick red and golden raspberries along with five acres of u-pick high bush blueberries. With ten varieties of cold hardy French-American hybrids planted, we hope to produce a diversity of wines, dry to sweet (red and white), that will please every palate.
