Founded in 1985, Friends Life Care Partners (formerly Friends Life Care System) offers a unique, affordable alternative or supplement to long-term care insurance and continuing care retirement communities. Designed to help individuals and couples remain at home and independent as they age, customizable membership plans help clients (called members) protect their savings and prepare for the unexpected, while providing innovative options to help increase their vitality and longevity via our VigR™ program. Unlike long-term-care insurance, the Friends Life Care team of highly credentialed Care Coordinators arranges and supervises all the services members need. Friends Life Care spares members and their loved ones the enormous stress, cost and uncertainty of locating and managing reliable, qualified care on their own. The emphasis on prevention and attention to the whole person distinguishes Friends Life Care’s philosophy toward independent aging. Subsidiaries of Friends Life Care Partners include: Life Care at Home Consultants (formerly Life Care at Home Partners); Intervention Associates - professional care management and legal guardianship services; and Caring Friends Home Care - a licensed nonprofit home care organization.
With Joint Township Hospital as our anchor, we provide modern facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, top-notch, caring medical professionals and highly qualified, experienced physicians. No one in our region offers the wide array of medical services and

Elder Care Alliance is a non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated solely to providing care services to meet the needs of older adults. We trace our origin to the opening of Mercy Retirement & Care Center in 1872. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, the community continues to reflect the same strong spiritual values that it did when it first opened its doors over 135 years ago. While that deep sense of faith, dignity, and compassion is evident today in all our Elder Care Alliance communities, we welcome all. We foster an environment of tolerance and spirituality that welcomes the faiths of all our residents. We are co-sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas West Midwest Community & the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As a non-profit, we seek to provide the highest quality care possible to our residents, uncompromised by the need to achieve profit margins. Because we are not bound by profit constraints, we strive for the financial health necessary to provide security to our residents, and the resources to reinvest in our communities and services. Our distinguished Board of Directors is dedicated to providing the strategic guidance necessary for Elder Care Alliance to not only continue to operate in a manner consistent with our mission and values, but to expand our services and programs through a wider range of communities.
