You enjoy building strategies and tactics from the ground up and have had extensive successful experience doing this in the past. You have experience in all facets of Human Resources and have served as a Chief Human Resources Officer. Your experience is primarily in an organization with an excess of 200 employees and within the field of Finance. You have a proven ability to partner and influence executive members and senior leadership teams to achieve the bank’s strategic objectives.

Here’s what you’ll do:
As the Chief Human Resources Officer you’ll be responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing Human Resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Specifically in the areas of succession planning; talent management; change management; organizational and performance management; training and development; compensation and incentive plans. The Chief Human Resources Officer provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Resource needs and plans to the executive management team; shareholders and to the Board of Directors.

Essential Job Duties
• Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the bank’s strategic vision.
• Develop HR plans and strategies to support achievement of the overall firm’s business objectives.
• Function as a strategic business advisor to executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
• Working with the firm’s executive management; establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the firm.
• Working with the sales executives; develop and maintain comprehensive incentive plans.
• Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the bank.
• Provide extensive experience and knowledge in regards to equity and stock option plans.
• Provide overall leadership and guidance to HR function by overseeing talent acquisition; career development; succession planning; retention; training and leadership development; compensation and benefits.

What you need for this position:
• 10 years experience in publicly held organization; preferably in a finance regulatory environment.
• 10 years experience in senior human resources executive roles
• 3 years experience as a CHRO
• 3 plus years interacting with board level executives.
• Leadership excellence in motivating high performance teams.
• Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills required.
• Extensive experience in executive compensation; incentives; and equity/stock option plans.
• BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university.
• MBA; MA; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
