Student success is the focus and measure of everything we do. CWU educates students from all corners of the state. Our name is regional, but our students are not. Students choose CWU to avoid the anonymity of big schools. Our students live and learn on a close-knit campus in an historic college town. Classes are small enough that professors know students by name and engage them directly in research as undergraduates. Students choose CWU for programs that are among the best in the nation—geology, education, business, aviation, music, and accounting. Augusta University, formerly Georgia Regents University, is one of only four public comprehensive research institutions in the state of Georgia.
