Galesburg Cottage Hospital has received The Joint Commission seal of accreditation and is the only hospital in Galesburg and west- central Illinois to have been named a Top Performer hospital several years in a row for succeeding in several health metrics. Cottage is also the only western Illinois hospital to be accredited by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care as a Chest Pain Center after having met rigorous standards of care in the timely treatment of cardiac emergencies.
