Nashville Superspeedway is a motor racing complex located in Gladeville, Tennessee, United States (though the track has a Lebanon postal address), about 30 mi (48 km) southeast of Nashville. The track was built in 2001 and is currently hosting the Ally 400, a NASCAR Cup Series regular season event, the Tennessee Lottery 250, and the Rackley Roofing 200. It is a concrete oval track 11⁄3 miles (2.145 km) long. Nashville Superspeedway is owned by Speedway Motorsports, which acquired the track`s previous owner Dover Motorsports in December 2021. Nashville Superspeedway is the longest concrete oval in NASCAR. Current permanent seating capacity is approximately 25,000, but will reach up to 38,000 for the NASCAR Cup Series event in 2021. Additional portable seats are brought in for some events, and seating capacity can be expanded to 150,000. When the track was constructed infrastructure was put in place to expand the facility to include a short track, drag strip, and road course. However these plans never evolved and in 2021 the land was sold and warehouses were constructed on the site.

Sacramento Kings

In 1985, the NBAs Sacramento Kings moved to Californias capital city, changing the region permanently. Today, the Kings continue their mission to profoundly impact the Sacramento region on- and off-the-court. When technologist and entrepreneur Vivek Ranadivé purchased the team in 2013, he committed to building a world-class arena in Sacramento. Golden 1 Center – opened in 2016 – is now recognized as the worlds most technologically advanced and sustainable arena in the world. Through Golden 1 Center and a $1 billion investment in the community, Sacramento is seeing dynamic economic growth, a revitalization in the downtown, and newfound energy shaping the next great American city. Recently, the organization has been recognized as Fast Companys Most Innovative Company in Sports, owners of Sports Business Journals Facility of the Year, and leaders in sustainability by the Natural Resource Defense Council, Green Sports Alliance and the Huffington Post.
