In addition, TIX100 inhibits excessive glucagon secretion and hepatic glucose production and protects against fatty liver. Thus, TIX100 holds promise for durable, weight-neutral improvement in glycemic control in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes by targeting common underlying pathology and promoting patients own islet cell health.
