Polk County provides a broad range of services including law enforcement, child support collection and child protection, transportation and nutrition programs for senior citizens, maintenance of a 515 mile highway system, provision of public health services including immunization and restaurant inspections, monitoring and safeguarding of the County`s environmental resources, promotion of orderly development through planning and zoning, operation of the county detention center and court system, provision of assistance to veterans, the elderly and disabled, operation of a long-term care and rehabilitation facility, and management of 5 county parks, a recycling center, and 17,144 acres of county forest land. Responsible for IT contract management functions, fiscal analysis & planning, and server and desktop support services. This team provides Server and Tier 1, 2, and 3 Help Desk support for the Idaho Consolidated Services (ICS) Messaging system and Active Directory (44 customer agencies), the Department of Administration, and 35+ small agencies and commissions. This team provides 24x7x365 on-call systems support for ICS equipment as well as Monday through Friday 7:30 to 5:00 help desk support and other server support. Consolidated Contract Management: we strive to consolidate multiple agency IT product/service requirements into enterprise-wide procurements and/or contracts. When multiple agency contracts exist with a single vendor, we consolidate those contracts into fewer contracts (perhaps one contract) with that vendor. In addition, we ensure that contractors meet their service obligations in terms of price, delivery, and quality. Fiscal Analysis & Planning: we provide budget forecasting, planning, and oversight for our internal operations as well as for existing and new statewide consolidation activities.
