State Agency that was created to assist in the accountablity; prevention and protection of all at risk youth. In 1994, Oklahoma Legislature passed the Juvenile Reform Act (H.B.2640) creating the Office Of Juvenile Affairs(OJA) as the state juvenile justice agency. Legislature also created the Youthful Offender Act to provide swift justice for serious and habitual juvenile offenders. OJA handles any probation and parole procedures for youthful offenders.
