Transit Wireless was formed to meet the Metropolitan Transit Authority`s (MTA) requirement to develop a shared wireless infrastructure within the underground stations of the New York City subway to provide commercial services for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers.
