Voluntary Action Center is a Sycamore, IL-based company in the Non-profit sector.
We are a familiar face and trusted friend in central and southwest Minnesota but with a new name. The new name – United Community Action Partnership, Inc. (UCAP) – was adopted through the merging of two organizations (Heartland Community Action and Western Community Action) with a rich history of helping people, changing lives, and working to eliminate poverty in the lives of people in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Redwood, and Renville counties. UCAP is a joint effort to bring together area resources to effectively and efficiently address the growing needs of our local communities in southwest Minnesota. We continue to hold true to our history of being a “grass-roots” private nonprofit organization that is represented and led by the communities we serve.
Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) funds and coordinates programs and services to help older Philadelphians and those with disabilities achieve their maximum levels of health, independence and productivity. Through its work, PCA touches the lives of more than 140,000 individuals each year.
The KC Tech Council drives growth for our member and sponsor companies. While primarily tech companies, we count the region`s top legal, financial, insurance and marketing corporations among our investors as well. Though our members and sponsors run the gamut in scale and focus, they have one key quality in common: they recognize how important the tech industry is to the economic future of the KC region, and understand they cannot sustain and create that growth on their own.
