ABOUT THE WAREHOUSE AT FTC Our newest and most versatile space, The Warehouse at FTC is a 640 capacity, flexible seating theatre conveniently located in the heart of Fairfield. Designed by Michael Smith Architects in order to accommodate the widest variety of programming, The Warehouse at FTC pairs a classic industrial feel with state of the art construction and staging. Its the embodiment of the artistic vision, enterprising spirit, and community mindset that have always helped FTC grow. ABOUT STAGEONE Established in 2004, StageOne is a 225 seat venue in the heart of downtown Fairfield, Connecticut. Originally built primarily for theatre productions, StageOne is consistently voted as the best place to hear live music in the entire region because of the quality of the sound, the intimacy of the space, and the caliber of the artists. There is literally not a bad seat in the house and there are few venues in the country where the fans can be so close to the world-renowned artists who grace the stage in over 200 concerts and productions a year. The artists love to perform here and frequently cite StageOne as their absolute favorite venue. This brings out the very best in them, which is reflected in the quality of their performances and enjoyment of their fans.

In 1963, the late Emmett Hart, with his wife Nancy by his side, established Mountville Mills. A little over a decade later, in 1974, the late Walter Andersen established The Andersen Company. Throughout the years, the companies drove innovations in their respective markets; Mountville in the textile rental market, and Andersen in the janitorial/sanitary supply markets. Outstanding quality and customer service paved the way for future generations of Harts and Andersens to expand the business. In 1999, these flagship brands joined forces to become the largest mat manufacturer in the world, and in 2018 we made the union official with a name change to M+A Matting. The founder of Conval, Chester A. Siver, developed an innovative and technologically advanced line of forged steel globe valves for high pressure and high temperature steam service applications primarily for the power generation industry. In 1967, Conval was incorporated and manufacturing facilities were established in Somers, Connecticut. Conval has developed extensions to the original product line which include: • "T" and angle pattern bodies • 3500 pound and a 4500 pound series • 2 1/2, 3, and 4 inch sizes • Bellows seal valves • 3 way valves • A variety of material options • Cryogenic valves • Multiple orifice blowdown valves • Ball Valves • Nuclear Power Plant Valves Convals provides basic valve products that are durable, maintainable, and yield a low cost solution over the serviceable life of the valve. Markets for Conval include the power generation industry, refining, oil and gas production, chemical, fertilizer, and pulp industries. Besides the domestic United States market, other projected growth markets are Canada, Australia, China, Southeast Asia, Mexico, South America, and developing third world countries. Over one half of Convals sales are made internationally. Conval became a Certified ISO 9001 manufacturer in September 1992. BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International, N.A., Inc.) semi-annually certifies that Convals Quality Management System is in accordance with appropriate international standards for design, development, production, installation, and servicing. Also, Convals quality program meets the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix B of the Code of Federal Regulations and ASME N Stamp for its nuclear customers, and the European Pressure Equipment Directive. Conval employs approximately 100 employees working on two shifts. Convals operations consist of the machining of most parts used to assemble finished valves, the maintenance of adequate parts inventory to support production, and the development of new valve products.
Blue Jay Racing is a student-run design team open to all undergraduate students. The program was founded in 2004. The team competes annually in three international events put on by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Students design, build, and race a single seat off-road vehicle against a total of ~200 teams representing 14 nations and nearly 4,000 young engineers. The award-winning program offers student engineers an educational experience that goes beyond what the classroom can offer. Aside from the technical knowledge gained, the team-based skills learned through such a rigorous endeavor develops leaders well prepared to enter industry and academia. At each competition the team competes in four of six dynamic events (Acceleration, Maneuverability, Rock Crawl, Suspension and Traction, Hill Climb and Sled Pull) as well as three static events (a sales presentation, design presentations and a cost report). To cap off the competition, the team will also race in a grueling four-hour endurance race. Team members learn as much at competition as from designing and building their vehicle throughout the rest of the year. In addition to their own learning it is also important to the team that all members participate. At competition the team is always working, whether repairing their vehicle or planning and preparing for the next days events. With so much to do and so little time every member contributes to the teams success.
