The Department of Administrative Services is the central administrative agency of Oregon state government. Our mission is to serve state government to benefit the people of Oregon. Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) was created to administer long-term services and supports for people who are aging as well as for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. DADS also licenses and regulates providers of these services, and administers the state's Guardianship program. DADS began formal operations on Sept. 1, 2004.
The State Personnel Office is responsible for the administration and oversight of the classified service personnel system which consists of approximately 18,000 state employees from approximately 68 executive state agencies, boards and commissions.
