We are embarking on a community approach to educating our children. No matter where a child lives in Indiana, they should enter schools that have equal access to resources, as well as the expectation that they will receive a high quality education. The needs of schools will drive the department`s legislative agenda, focus our grant-writing efforts, and determine community partnerships and supports. Our team has transformed the Department`s website into a portal for users to easily access information about the IDOE, academic issues, performance data, and programs and initiatives. We will also maintain communication via the IDOE`s Facebook page and through your local media outlets. The new website is a leap forward in the IDOE`s efforts to advance transparency at the Department.
