The Florida Department of Transportation is an executive agency, which means it reports directly to the Governor of Florida. The goal of the Department of Administration is to oversee the provision of statewide supportive services to all departments and agencies in conformance with legislative and policy mandates and to ensure that programs of the department are efficiently organized and implemented.
