The Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal Project) is a business transformation project for state government in the areas of budgeting, accounting, procurement, and cash management. The project will prepare the state systems and workforce to function in an integrated financial management system environment. To ensure the success of the project, the Partner Agencies have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the State Controller, the State Treasurer, and the Directors of the Departments of Finance and General Services. The MOU demonstrates support for the project at the highest levels of these organizations and provides the framework for this project. FI$Cal is an historic partnership of the Department of Finance (DOF), the State Controller`s Office (SCO), the State Treasurer`s Office (STO) and the Department of General Services (DGS).
The Office of Secretary of State is one of five constitutional offices originally designated in Indiana`s State Constitution of 1816. Sixty-one Hoosiers have served as the third highest-ranking official in state government. Historically the duties of the office included the maintenance of state records and preservation of the state seal, but as state government expanded so did the responsibilities of the Secretary of State. Present duties include chartering of new business, regulation of the securities industry, oversight of state elections, commissioning of notaries public, registration of trademarks and licensing of vehicle dealerships throughout Indiana. It is the mission of the office of Secretary of State Connie Lawson to deliver to the people of Indiana government-as-a-service that focuses on unqualified integrity and accuracy in our elections, consistent and principled regulatory methods, ceaseless protection of Hoosier investors, and the most efficient use of taxpayer resources.

The mission of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is to manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Since our inception in 1895 as the Fish & Oyster Commission, with Texas Game Wardens providing "Law Enforcement off the Pavement," and with the addition of the Game Department in 1907, we became the Texas Game & Fish Commission. When we merged with the State Parks Board in 1963, we became Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Some TPWD highlights: * Our Coastal Fisheries Division manages resources in 4 million acres of saltwater to sustain fisheries populations and ensure that stocks of commercially and recreationally important species are replenishable.
