Paringa (ASX:PNL) has started construction at the fully financed and permitted Poplar Grove Mine (2.8 Mtpa), located in Kentucky, USA. Paringa is expected to produce first coal around mid-2018 and will begin construction of the permitted 3.8 Mtpa Cypress Mine by early 2019.
