Responsibilities Role Summary
The HR Generalist will provide Human Resources support for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises in the greater Miami, FL area.
Responsibilities
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide broad locational HR support for NBCUniveral Telemundo Enterprises, participate in and lead division and corporate HR initiatives
• Drive strategic HR-related planning, organization design & integration, staffing, compensation planning, manager coaching, employee development, compliance and performance management
• Manage key HR initiatives, including: succession planning, performance management, training advisement, organization planning, compensation planning and title standardization
• Provide HR guidance and feedback to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues. Assume leadership role in resolving employee relations issues and associated coaching
• Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner
• Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the business
• Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate
• Manage staffing process working with clients and our internal recruiting team to identify recruitment strategies as well as ensure diverse candidate slates and top quality candidate selection
• Work closely and partner with several HR leaders to ensure consistent HR practices across related organizations
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources or related field of study
• Minimum 3 years relevant HR experience including recruiting, employee development, organizational development, compliance and compensation

• Previous experience with a technical and/or production workforce
• Demonstrated ability to translate `big picture` business strategy into an HR plan which can be executed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Strong employee-relations skill set; can earn trust and credibility with employees in assigned groups
• Excellent presentation skills: ability to synthesize data and cohesively present information
• Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups
• Demonstrated coaching/mentoring/leadership skills; change agent; results orientation; high energy; comfortable handling multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Previous experience with a technical workforce
• Previous experience working in a union environment
