Railroad Pass

The Railroad Pass abounds with history. First opened August 1, 1931, the Railroad Pass is America`s longest running casino! The first train that rumbled through the mountain pass towards the building site of the Hoover Dam carried the lumber that built the casino. Over the years the Railroad Pass has grown and adapted to serve the surrounding population of Boulder City and Henderson. While staying at the Pass, be sure to stop by the safe room, which houses the safe that held the payroll for the Railroad and the workers who built the Dam. Join the Player`s Junction and as a player you earn both points and cash. Use your points to get actual cash back, not just free play or use comp credits towards free rooms and free meals No matter your dining preference, Railroad Pass has three fine restaurants with a variety of tastes to satisfy your appetite. The buffet has fresh salads, entrees and desserts prepared fresh every day. Experience our elegant Conductor`s Room for steaks, seafood or pasta. Aspen Snowmass

The Aspen Skiing Company (ASC), located in Aspen, Colorado, was founded in 1946 by Chicago-based industrialist and philanthropist Walter Paepcke and his wife Elizabeth. Originally a mining town, Aspen began attracting recreational skiers after the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York began to draw Americans` interest in the sport. In 1938, the Paepckes took a trip to Aspen and, after falling in love with the surroundings, envisioned transforming the town into a cultural center, whose purpose would be the “renewal of the inner spirit.” In 1945, Walter began acquiring land and met with the original founder of Aspen`s ski club and school, which he was looking to acquire. A deal was struck and in January 1946, the Aspen Skiing Company was incorporated. In its first year, ASC established a chair lift, a ski patrol, and held three races that garnered its difficult mountain terrain some notoriety. In 1950, Aspen hosted the United States` first world skiing competition, which attracted over 1,500 people and gave ASC worldwide visibility. After several subsequent changes in ownership, ASC became privately owned in 1993 by the Crown family of Chicago, Illinois. We are a values-driven company, owned and operated by people who share a common appreciation and respect for the pristine environment in which we live and fully embrace the Aspen Idea centered around the renewal of Mind, Body, and Spirit. We have a collective responsibility to ensure that our company is a rewarding place to work and our community a desirable place to live. We respect and nurture the delicate balance between “resort” and “community” that makes us unique. The combination of our values-based company with unparalleled mountain sports, community, history, culture and environment gives us a unique market niche. We are successful because we live the values and principles expressed here.

Mandalay Bay

AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Mandalay Bay is a lush, tropical resort. As guests enter from the Las Vegas Strip, intricately carved stone statues silently welcome them to the Valley of the Falls where spectacular fire pots, cascading waterfalls, mythical architecture and landscaping set the stage for discoveries of treasures yet to come.    Throughout the 120-acre property, thousands of palm trees create the sense of a sheltering oasis. The feeling of a vibrant paradise continues in the hotel’s registration lobby where visitors find a 14-foot-high, saltwater aquarium reminiscent of the beautiful coral reefs of the South Pacific. The impressive 12,200-gallon exhibit is filled with dozens of aquatic species including two leopard sharks and a variety of colorful Angelfish.    THEhotel offers a boutique-style, all-suite resort with a separate entrance, check in, restaurants and spa.
