I-96, connecting the Metro Detroit area with Lansing and Grand Rapids , crosses US 23 which connects Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti with Flint, Saginaw and Bay City. They cross right here. We are truly 'at the crossroads of Michigan' We are a "Charter Township" that derives its authority from state law.
