Responsibilities include:
• Develop and coordinate the company`s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company`s information technology infrastructure and direction.
• Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Information Technology Section, staff, infrastructure and resources.
• Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, production and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide leadership to department heads in a fashion that supports the company`s culture, mission and values.
• Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation.
• Works collaboratively with the CIO to ensure the most efficient and effective information systems environment and infrastructure.
• Works collaboratively with MOR partners to provide and promote that most secure, compliant and efficient interconnectivity and interoperability with those partners and their systems.
• Works collaboratively with MOR`s 3rd Party IT and IS vendors to provide and promote that most secure, compliant and efficient interconnectivity and interoperability with those partners and their systems.
• Acts as a good steward of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush Companies resources and ensures establish and control the IT department budget.
Position Requirements Requirements:
• BS in related field and at least 10 years experience in the Information Technology arena, at least 5 years management and strategic experience in this field or MBA/MS in related filed with 10 years experience of which five must be managerial and strategic.
