Surface Oncology is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company focused on using its specialized knowledge of the biological pathways critical to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) for the development of next-generation therapies to help patients suffering with cancer. Surface is leveraging its deep understanding of TME biology to target factors and cells that suppress patients’ anti-tumor immune response. Our broad attack on the TME has the potential to convert patients’ non-responsive ‘cold’ tumors into immune-active ones. We push ourselves to break through across all dimensions of our work. From a discovery perspective, Surface leverages its world-class SAB to identify new targets and takes an aggressive approach towards generating diverse, highly-specific antibodies, which allows our scientists to thoroughly explore the relevant biology.
