Utah Valley University is a teaching institution with a unique focus on "engaged learning," or the combination of traditional academic and hands-on education. In 2008, the prestigious Carnegie Foundation classified UVU as a "community engaged" institution. Independent Colleges of Indiana is the collective voice for excellence and choice in higher education for all students.
