The Mason City School District is one of Ohio's best public school districts. It consistently ranks in Ohio’s Top Academic Performers — placing 7th out of over 600 Ohio public school districts in 2012-13. We are proud that students in every grade level consistently score above the state and national average in reading, writing, math, science and social studies, and on the SAT, ACT and AP tests. Our students perform at high academic standards, are exposed to a multitude of cultures and languages, and are nurtured with a clear awareness of their part in the larger world.
