Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center (MMSC) is the only full service medical center in the area. The 125-bed, not-for-profit facility serves more than 60,000 residents with a wide variety of healthcare services and around-the-clock emergency care. MMSC includes a state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging Department, Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Rehabilitation Center, as well as four primary care clinics. The hospital is accredited by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
