Our distillery opened on September 15th, 2014 as the first artisan distillery in Indianapolis since Prohibition and we are proud to hold the title of the 1st service disabled combat veteran distillery in the country. The name Hotel Tango reflects the military phonetic of our founder, Travis, and his wife Hilary [Hilary = Hotel, Travis = Tango]. You will also notice that nomenclature is used in the naming of our flagship spirits, too [i.e. Golf Gin, Romeo Rum, Bravo Bourbon, etc.]. We distill our spirits on site, directly adjacent to the tasting room. The function of our tasting room and cocktail menu is to showcase the spirits we handcraft.
