The Sr. Director, Human Resources is both a hands on and strategic Generalist role that will provide significant support in the areas of performance and talent management, implementing best in class HR programs and initiatives, employee relations and coaching. The Sr. Director will report to the SVP, HR & Special Projects, and will partner with the business lines to provide guidance, direction and influence, from an HR perspective, to achieve the goals and objectives of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Provide direction to Human Resources administrative staff in regard to Human Resources policies, EEO, wage and salary management, benefits, and training.
• Identify potential employee and management problems and work them to resolution.
• Create and deliver corporate training programs.
• Oversee implementation of new HRIS system.
Skills and Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or similar. Master`s Degree preferred.
• Must have at least 10 years of progressively responsible, hands on HR experience in all HR functions (compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, legislation and compliance issues, HRIS).
• Demonstrated HR leadership experience, preferably in a large, high-tech organization. Proven ability to nurture talent required.
• Project Management skills.
• Experience that illustrates the ability to manage multiple employment matters simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to consult with, manage and influence senior leadership on key people and employment matters. Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
• Must have a proven track record of proactive strategic thinking, delivery and sense of urgency in a collaborative environment. A demonstrated record of implementing customized solutions, interventions and strategies to improve organizational results is required. Very strong business acumen and a proven track record of setting and executing HR and business processes and objectives.
• Computer software knowledge required, including Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS (ADP and Ultipro preferred).
