The Louisiana House of Representatives is the lower body of the Louisiana State Legislature. The House consists of 105 members and meets at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge. Each member represents an average of 43,175 residents as of the 2010 Census. After the 2000 Census, each member represented approximately 42,562 residents.
