Susquehanna Health was formed in 1994 by the affiliation of the three Lycoming County hospitals—Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Divine Providence Hospital and Muncy Valley Hospital. In 2012, Susquehanna Health welcomed the facilities of Laurel Health System into the organization. Susquehanna Health is located in rural northcentral Pennsylvania and is the region's largest employer with more than 4,000 employees. Divine Providence Hospital and Williamsport Regional Medical Center are centered in Williamsport, the county seat. Muncy Valley Hospital, located in Muncy, is positioned to serve the eastern portion of the county, while Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, serves the northern part of the region.
Like all hospitals, we strive to provide the best care for patients. But we have the courage to go further, embracing an often uncertain future by taking bold steps to ensure that, no matter what happens, our patients can be confident we`ll be here to help them be healthy. We challenge our employees and our community to keep working for a better, healthier tomorrow. As a leading healthcare provider, employer and economic engine of our region, we approach our mission with both humility and high conviction.
At Pioneer Valley Hospital we are constantly striving to provide the highest possible quality of care to all our patients. If you have further questions about quality, please contact Dick Alexander, Marketing Director at 801-562-3129 or send e-mail to
