The mission of the South Dakota Shakespeare Festival (SDSF) is to increase the cultural, artistic and educational offerings of the state of South Dakota and surrounding regions through professional Shakespeare performances and arts education events delivered in a lively and accessible format. With Shakespeare`s work and words as our platform, we aim to ignite imaginations, stimulate a love and appreciation for language, foster a deeper understanding of humanity, cultivate a connection to history and world cultures, and stimulate audience members to think, feel, and learn about themselves and their local and global communities. By creating highly accessible work that entertains and enlightens individuals, strengthens communities, and increases the artistic offerings of the region, the South Dakota Shakespeare Festival seeks to fulfill an important cultural and educational need throughout the state and Great Plains Region.

Purpose Built Communities is an organization that helps local leaders implement a comprehensive, long-term place-based redevelopment model with public and private partners in neighborhoods of concentrated urban poverty to create healthy, vibrant neighborhoods where all residents can thrive. It is a nonprofit consulting firm that offers its services free of charge. The Purpose Built Model includes mixed-income housing, a cradle-to-college education pipeline and community wellness programs and facilities in a defined neighborhood, coordinated by a dedicated, nonprofit community quarterback organization. There are now 16 Purpose Built Communities Network Members across the United States.
Today` more than 75 million young adults are out of work globally` and three times as many are underemployed. At the same time` 40 percent of employers say a skills shortage is leaving them with entry-level vacancies. Generation is a youth employment nonprofit with a dual mission to empower young people to build thriving` sustainable careers and to provide employers the highly skilled` motivated talent they need. Today` more than 21`000 young adults have graduated from the Generation program` which prepares young adults for careers in nearly 80 cities and 200 locations across eight countries` with five countries in pre-launch.
