Kiadis Pharma is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative and potentially life-saving therapies for blood cancer patients where pharmacological standard of care is no longer an alternative. The Company`s main focus is on the development of a cellular therapeutic that will enable partially mismatched donor stem cell transplants from family members in blood cancer patients, thus making them safe and available as the last potentially life saving option. Sorrento recently announced that NantPharma acquired the rights to Cynviloq™, which completed a successful TRIBECA study. Sorrento is also developing resiniferatoxin (RTX), a non-opiate TRPV1 agonist currently in a Phase 1/2 study at the NIH to treat terminal cancer patients suffering from intractable pain. In December 2014, Sorrento and NantWorks formed a global joint venture, now called Nantibody, to focus on immunotherapies for cancer.
