It`s a mission the Westlake City School District takes seriously and strives to promote to our more than 4,000 students and approximately 600 staff members. The district consists of three K-4 elementary schools, a PK-4 elementary school, an intermediate school for grades 5 and 6, a 7-8 middle school and our high school. The Westlake Schools, located at the western edge of Cuyahoga County, consistently earn the top ""Excellent"" rating on the state report card, placing us in the top 4% of districts statewide by providing students a foundation in the basic skills, while offering programs and courses that encourage individual academic success. The School District of Washington is located in historic Washington, Missouri, a thriving community nestled on the banks of the Missouri River approximately 50 miles west of downtown St. Louis.
