We are an association of creators who are grounded in safety and passionate about making the world a better place through the power of scent. Our member companies create and manufacture fragrances for home care, personal care, fine fragrance, and industrial and institutional products. They also market finished products containing fragrance as well as supply fragrance ingredients, including natural extracts and other raw materials that are used in perfumery and fragrance mixtures. The fragrance industry is an important economic contributor, providing a myriad of jobs and investments in research and technology, while also promoting small business and farming communities in the United States and around the world. We represent the scientists, perfumers, researchers, farmers, artists, inventors, entrepreneurs, and the many others who make up the fragrance community. We use and enjoy fragranced products every day, so we know how fragrances inspire and bring comfort, make us feel confident and unique, and remind us of all of the moments that make life special. The Oberkotter Foundation is helping families ensure their children who are deaf or hard of hearing have opportunities to reach their full potential through listening and spoken language. Vision: Early learning is critical to a child`s language development and lifetime success, and children who are deaf or hard of hearing will have the same opportunities as their hearing peers to capitalize on the critical early period for brain development. Quality pediatric audiology and listening and spoken language (LSL) intervention will be available and affordable for all families as close as possible to their baby`s birth or acquired hearing loss, and families will be empowered and equipped to effectively support their baby`s learning, language and literacy development.
KIND was founded by the Microsoft Corporation and UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie, and is the leading national organization that works to ensure that no refugee or immigrant child faces immigration court alone. We do this in partnership with over 585 law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, and bar associations has served more than 17,332 children since 2009, and trained over 41,000 private sector attorneys, paralegals, and law students to provide them with high quality representation in their deportation proceedings. KIND promotes protection of children in countries of origin and transit countries and works to address the root causes of child migration from Central America. KIND also advocates to change law, policy, and practices to improve the protection of unaccompanied children in the United States, by educating policymakers, the media, and the broader public about the violence that is driving children out of Central America and their need for protection.
