Founded in 1954 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Holy Family University is a comprehensive four-year university based in Philadelphia. About half of the University`s 3,500 students are enrolled on a full- or part-time basis in the traditional undergraduate program. The University is based at the Northeast Philadelphia Campus, which serves as home of the traditional undergraduate program and offers courses in the graduate program. The Northeast Philadelphia Campus also offers student housing for full-time undergraduates. Holy Family — Newtown is located in Newtown Township, Bucks County, and offers an undergraduate program in education, graduate programs, and select courses in the accelerated programs. Specially designed for adult students, Holy Family — Woodhaven in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, serves as home to the Division of Extended Learning and its continuing education and accelerated degree programs. The University`s accelerated MBA also is available in South Philadelphia at Gloria Dei (Old Swedes`) Church, located at Columbus Avenue and Christian Street.
