Hestra was founded in 1936 in the town Hestra in Småland, Sweden by Martin Magnusson, who began producing durable leather gloves for lumberjacks. Hestra is still run by the Magnusson family and produces gloves for winter sports enthusiasts, outdoor recreation, mountaineering, mountain biking and cycling and fashion. Hestra selects natural materials including leather and wool, to develop high-quality gloves with the user’s needs and application in mind. Hestra currently produces over 400 glove styles with a diversity that allows each user to find their ideal Hestra glove in terms of fit, function and style.
