In its first round of funding, in 2012, iTutorGroup raised $15 million in investment capital from QiMing Venture Partners and CyberAgent. In February 2014 iTutorGroup announced a $100 million round of funding led by Alibaba Group alongside, SBI Group, Temasek Holdings and returning investors. In 2015, iTutorGroup closed its series C equity fundraising amounting to approximately $200 million. The investment values iTutorGroup at over $1 billion, and attracted marquee new investors, including GIC, Singapore’s sovereign fund; the Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF); Goldman Sachs; and Silverlink Capital LP.
