Sweetgreen

Sweetgreen is a destination for real food. We believe the choices we make every day about what we eat, where it comes from, and how it`s made have a lasting impact on our communities. From the seed to the store, we`re involved in every step of the supply chain, working with partners and farmers we know and trust. We make our food from scratch in each sweetgreen every day, using whole produce delivered that morning. As sweetgreen grows, we`re dedicated to working with the right people. We`ve built a team of over 4,000 hardworking individuals who care about developing future leaders and live our core values daily. We meet farmers before we meet landlords. We turn our new neighbors into friends. We`re building a brand that connects to local neighborhoods and leaves communities better off than we found them. Our mission is to inspire healthier communities, by connecting people to real food. With over 120 locations across PA, MA, DMV, NY, CA, IL, TX, CO, and FL, we`ve worked hard to build a company with passion and purpose - and we`re just getting started.

DavCo Restaurants

"Wendy’s first restaurant opened in Columbus, Ohio in November of 1969. The founder, R. David Thomas, named his new restaurant after his daughter. Mr. Thomas’ philosophy was a simple one: serve a fresh, never frozen, hamburger with the guests’ choice of condiments, in a clean and friendly atmosphere, as quickly and as accurately as possible. That simple but effective philosophy allowed Mr. Thomas’ business to grow into one of the most successful restaurant companies in the world. In 1976, the Davenport family – founders of the Krystal Company, a major fast food chain in the southeastern United States – bought the franchise rights from Wendy’s for the Metropolitan areas of Baltimore MD, Washington D C. The Davenports named this franchise DavCo. DavCo grew to over 100 restaurants and in 1988, DavCo’s current CEO Harvey Rothstein and former Chairman, CEO and President Ron Kirstien purchased the Baltimore and Washington markets of DavCo in a leveraged buy out. Today, DavCo Restaurants is one of the world’s largest Wendy’s franchisees, with over 150 restaurants in the mid -Atlantic region and with an enviable reputation for progressive and professional management."
